Programs
Prayer

Uplifting Shabbat services take place weekly on Friday at 7:15 PM and on Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM. Join for a soulful prayer experience, with singing, explanation and sense of connection. No prior Hebrew reading skills needed.

Jewish Learning

Weekly classes, one-on-one learning sessions, and lunch and learns, offer engaging opportunities to explore relevant Jewish topics, ideas and values.

Shabbat Dinner

Join weekly family-style Shabbat dinners, with homemade food, desserts, discussion and singing! Come hungry!

Holiday Celebrations

The Jewish calendar is rich with holidays - from Rosh Hashanah to Chanukah to Passover and Shavuot, there are plenty of days that we celebrate together. Chabad of Oberlin provides meaningful ways to celebrate each one!

Events

Events at Chabad give you an opportunity to chill with other Jewish students, learn Jewish ideas in fun and meaningful ways, and connect as a community.

Kosher on Campus

Lorain Kosher is the certifying Kashrus agency that provides a Kosher certification for the meals at the Heritage Dining Hall on campus. Under the supervision of Rabbi Yisroel Pinson, students can enjoy delicious Kosher meals at Heritage for lunch and dinner on Monday through Thursday. Grab & Go meals are available daily in DeCafe’ in the basement of Wilder Hall Kosher catering through AVI Foodservice is also available upon request
